Another dynamic young Boise State WR? Of course.
When the injury bug hit Boise State’s secondary last year, Kekoa Nawahine hung in and produced another quality season, enough so to make our countdown of Mountain West football’s best players for the second straight year, coming in at #33.
Nawahine made 12 starts in all and finished the season with 71 total tackles, the best figure among all Broncos defenders, as well as two pass breakups and a forced fumble. Even with a number of enviable talents around him in 2019, however, the senior will play a key role in what could be one of the Broncos’ best defenses ever.
