With G-Day in the rearview mirror, we are approaching the summer stretch before Georgia football.
Can you feel it?
Football is sloooowly approaching and I for one cannot wait — so much so that I put together a game-by-game prediction for Georgia’s 2019 season.
At Vanderbilt: Win, 38-14
vs Murray State: Win, 58-7
vs Arkansas State: Win, 48-3
vs Notre Dame: Win, 31-21
at Tennessee: Win, 34-17
vs South Carolin: Win, 31-17
vs Kentucky: Win, 27-13
vs Florida: Win, 31-23
vs Missouri: Win, 27-14
at Auburn: Win, 24-17
vs Texas A&M: Win, 41-30
at Georgia Tech: Win, 38-20
Regular season: 12-0
SECCG vs Alabama: Loss, 31-28
That is enough to make the playoff.
I really just cannot see Georgia dropping any of these regular season games.
Notre Dame will be good, but Georgia will be better and at home.
Tennessee will be improved but the talent gap is so wide still.
Florida is not there yet, and Kirby Smart will have his team extra motivated after how much Dan Mullen has run his mouth.
Auburn is consistently the most overrated team in the country, but if there’s a game Georgia loses this season, I’d say it would be vs the Tigers…but I still do not see it happening.
Texas A&M will be a very tough game, but playing at home will be huge for the Dawgs.
Georgia Tech…lol.
Then there’s Alabama. This year’s Alabama team will be another incredible team. Close game, but right now, I’ll say Bama…mainly because going 13-0 is so rare. And, hate to be that guy, but let’s just go ahead and assume the refs do not help us out here either. We will see.
