2019 Genesis Open Round 1 & 2 blog: Justin Thomas, Adam Scott lead at 10-under as darkness halts play

Play resumed Friday under partly-cloudy skies with temperatures in the low 50s at the Genesis Open with a sizable portion of the first round yet to be completed.

Justin Thomas and Adam Scott shared the lead at 10-under par when the horn sounded and darkness halted play at Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, Calif. Thomas was 12 holes through his second round of play while Scott had played 11 holes.

The day’s early leader was Jordan Spieth. He completed his first round of play early Friday and will begin his second round early Saturday along with the players who finished early Friday.

Tiger Woods played 30 holes Friday and sits on the projected cutline at 1-under.
