All-new saloon and roadster each come with two engines to choose from and will highlight at next month’s Bangkok motor show.

BMW Thailand has announced prices for the all-new 3 Series saloon and Z4 roadster ahead of a public debut at the Bangkok motor show in March.
Initially available as a completely built-up import, the 3 Series comes in two forms.
The 320d is powered by 190hp 2.0-litre diesel-turbo and costs 2.959 million baht in Sport trim. The most expensive (Thai-made) Mercedes-Benz C220d goes for 2.899 million baht.
The 330i, on the other hand, gets 258hp 2.0-litre petrol-turbo priced at 3.359 million baht in racier M Sport guise. The 330i is distinguished from the 320d with some driver-assist technologies.
A competitor for the 330i in the Thai luxury car market is the Audi A4 45 TFSI Quattro S Line, an import from Germany asking for a lower 3.149 million baht with 252hp of all-wheel-drive performance.

Meanwhile, the Z4 is launching in both 30i and M40i outfits adopting 258hp 2.0-litre four-cylinder and 340hp six-pot petrol-turbo engines accordingly, both with eight-speed torque-converter autos.
Prices have been set at 3.999 and 4.999 million baht for the 30i and M40i respectively. The closest two-seat rival for the Z4 in Thailand is the Porsche 718 Boxster which costs north of seven million baht in entry-level 300hp form.
