Popular two-door car gets a new face and sleek hatchback a smaller engine for lower price.

Meister Technik, the Thai importer of Audi, has announced a facelifted version of the TT Coupe and cheaper variant of the A7 Sportback.
The two-door TT, one of the most popular Audis in the country, gets a tweaked face. The 230hp 2.0-litre petrol-turbo remains unchanged and drives all four wheels.
Tagged 45 TFSI Quattro S Line, the TT now costs 3.299 million baht. That’s 100,000 baht more than in the pre-facelift model.
Like before, the TT Coupe is without a direct rival in the Thai luxury car market. However, Audi hopes to lure punters of the just-launched BMW Z4 even though it’s a roadster. The cheapest Z4 is 258hp 30i going for 3.999 million baht.

The A7 Sportback, meanwhile, has gained a smaller engine with mild hybrid tech to lower its price point by one million baht.
In 45 TFSI Quattro S Line outfit, the A7 Sportback produces 245hp and is priced at 4.399 million baht. The initial variant was 55 TFSI running 340hp 3.0-litre V6 and 48V mild hybrid.
That finally puts the A7 Sportback on par with the BMW 6 Series GT and Mercedes-Benz CLS, both preferring to highlight diesel power instead.
Prices of the 265hp 630d GT M Sport and 245hp CLS300d AMG Dynamic are set at 4.699 and 4.39 million baht respectively.
