The 2019 ALL-USA Preseason Girls Volleyball Team was selected by Sloane Green of PrepVolleyball.com in coordination with USA TODAY High School Sports based on past performance, level of competition and strength of schedule.

Naomi Cabello School: East Ridge (Clermont, Fla.) Position: Setter Height: 6-2 Class: Senior College: Texas Noteworthy: Cabello has developed into one of the best true setters in the country and impacts ever facet of the game. At East Ridge, she is among the leaders in every statistical category including blocks, assists, kills, and aces and was selected as a First Team All-Area member by the Orlando Sentinel after the 2018 season.Photo: Cecil Ramsey

Anna DeBeer School: Assumption (Louisville, Ky.) Position: Outside hitter Height: 6-0 Class: Senior College: Louisville Noteworthy: High-flying DeBeer has a competitive fire within her and the tools to make magic happen. DeBeer was a First Team All-State selection in 2018 when Assumption had an undefeated and state championship season. Sophie Fischer School: Nation Ford (Fort Mill, S.C.) Position: Middle blocker Height: 6-5 Class: Senior College: North Carolina Noteworthy: Fischer was named the 2018 South Carolina Gatorade Player of the Year and a PrepVolleyball.com All-American. With 618 kills, 345 digs, and 51 blocks, Fischer led Nation Ford to a 2018 state title from both the middle and the outside hitter positions.Photo: Rob Upton Photography

Paige Flickinger School: Byron Nelson (Trophy Club, Texas) Position: Outside hitter Height: 5-9 Class: Senior College: LSU Noteworthy: Flickinger was a member of the 17 Open All-Tournament Team this summer when her club team, TAV, won the USAV National championship. She plays with an intensity above her 5-foot-9 stature and knows how to score even against a bigger block. Nalani Iosia School: Redondo Union (Redondo Beach, Calif.) Position: Libero Height: 5-8 Class: Senior College: Texas Noteworthy: A 2018 Division 1 All-CIF Southern Section selection, Iosia is a four-time captain for the Sea Hawks and three-time team MVP. The setter-turned-libero is one of the best all-around volleyball players in the game. With a mean top-spin serve, Iosia reliably digs up a quality first touch, and can deliver a beautiful second contact.Photo: Mitch Ziegler

Emily Londot School: Utica (Ohio) Position: Middle blocker/Opposite hitter Height: 6-3 Class: Senior College: Ohio State Noteworthy: Londot has the versatility to play any position along the front line, and stay in for six rotations, too. Her club team, Mintonette, won the 17 Open AAU National title and was the runner-up at USAV Nationals this summer. Taylor Landfair School: Plainfield Central (Ill). Position: Outside hitter Height: 6-4 Class: Senior College: Minnesota Noteworthy: With over 1,100 career kills under her belt, Landfair has become a versatile threat from all six rotations proven by her 515 kills and 249 digs last season. Kami Miner School: Redondo Union (Redondo Beach, Calif.) Position: Setter Height: 6-1 Class: Junior College: Uncommitted Noteworthy: Miner is a fluid and athletic setter for one of the top high school programs in the country and she has the ability to be an offensive threat, too. Hattie Monson School: Benet Academy (Lisle, Ill.) Position: Libero Height: 5-4 Class: Senior College: Notre Dame Noteworthy: Monson is a steady and efficient libero, reliable in serve receive and gritty on defense. She plays club at one of the premier programs in the country, Sports Performance, and has put in the time to become one of the best in the country at her craft.Photo: Brad Baker

Jessica Mruzik School: Mercy (Farmington, Mich.) Position: Outside hitter Height: 6-1 Class: Senior College: Michigan Noteworthy: Mruzik was named the MVP of the 2019 18 Open AAU National Championship when her club team, Legacy, won Gold. Mruzik was the U.S. Girls Youth National Team (YNT) captain and MVP of the 2018 NORCECA Continental Championships. Elena Oglivie School: ‘Iolani School (Honolulu, Hawaii) Position: Outside hitter Height: 5-11 Class: Senior College: Stanford Noteworthy: Oglivie was a member of the 2018 state championship team when she amassed 499 kills (5.4 per set) and 332 digs. She has the ability to become a high-level libero or stay the course as a strong outside hitter. Oglivie was named to the U.S. Girls Youth National Team.Photo: John Tamanaha

Kennedi Orr School: Eagan (Minnesota) Position: Setter/Opposite hitter Height: 6-1 Class: Junior College: Nebraska Noteworthy: A true setter in club volleyball, Orr led her Mizuno Northern Lights club team to a runner-up finish at the 2019 18 Open AAU National Championships. Rylee Rader School: Assumption (Louisville, Ky.) Position: Middle blocker Height: 6-3 Class: Senior College: Ohio State Noteworthy: Rader collected a number of accolades in the 2018 season, including being named the ALL-USA Volleyball Player of the Year, Kentucky Gatorade Player of the Year and the PrepVolleyball.com National Junior of the Year. Devyn Robinson School: Ankeny Centennial (Iowa) Position: Middle blocker Height: 6-2 Class: Senior College: Wisconsin Noteworthy: Robinson is a 2018 Iowa Class 5A State Champion and a member of the U.S. Girls Youth National Team. Robinson is strong, jumps well, and averaged one block per set last season. Lexi Rodriguez School: Sterling (Ill.) Position: Libero Height: 5-5 Class: Junior College: Nebraska Noteworthy: A dynamic and intelligent libero, Rodriguez sets a beautiful second ball when called on. Reagan Rutherford School: Ridge Point (Missouri City, Texas) Position: Setter/Opposite hitter Height: 6-0 Class: Senior College: Kentucky Noteworthy: It’s difficult to decide which skill Rutherford excels at the most – setting or hitting. Last season she marked 382 kills, 832 assists, and 477 digs for her highly ranked Ridge Point team and was named to the Class 6A State All-Tournament Team.Photo: Bob Calbert

Melani Shaffmaster School: New Castle (Indiana) Position: Setter/Defensive Specialist Height: 6-4 Class: Senior College: Minnesota Noteworthy: Shaffmaster has the ability to take over a match, even from the setter’s position, with her high contact point and incredible awareness of the game. Annabelle Smith School: Southlake Carroll (Texas) Position: Middle blocker Height: 6-3 Class: Senior College: Stanford Noteworthy: Smith is an effective attacker, especially good on a slide attack, and puts up a block no hitter wants to face. With 544 kills in the 2018 season, Smith averaged 3.9 kills per set and 1.1 blocks per set. Smith and her club team, TAV, won the 17 Open USAV National title this summer.Photo: Matt's Photography

Leilah Smith School: The Hockaday School (Dallas, Texas) Position: Middle blocker Height: 6-5 Class: Senior College: Stanford Noteworthy: Smith’s athleticism is unmatched as she touches 10’10” and is able to attack off of one foot or two without a problem. With 89 blocks and nearly a 50-percent kill percentage last season, she helped put the Daisies back on the map with a final four finish in the Texas Southwest Preparatory Conference (SPC). Mia Tuaniga School: Mater Dei (Santa Ana, Calif.) Position: Setter Height: 5-9 Class: Senior College: Long Beach State Noteworthy: A member of the 2018 CIF Championship Monarchs, Tuaniga was a member of the All-CIF Southern Section Division 1 team.
