2019 ALL-USA Preseason Girls Track and Field: Jumps

In honor of Girls Sports Month, USA TODAY High School Sports is releasing the ALL-USA Preseason Girls Track and Field Team for the 2018-19 season as selected by Fred Baer, the founder of Track and Field Writers of America, and Jack Shepard, the high school editor for Track & Field News.

Here are the five athletes selected in the jumps (high jump, pole vault, long jump, triple jump). Returning ALL-USA selections are denoted with asterisks.

<p><strong>School: </strong>West Seattle (Seattle)    <br/><strong>Class: </strong>Senior<br/><strong>Result, Events: </strong>14-9 i, PV (HSR); 14-8 (’19), PV (outdoor HSR)<br/><strong>Noteworthy:</strong> Cunliffe has already set all-time high school records both indoors (14-9) and outdoors (14-8) over the past month. <p><strong>School: </strong>Lake Ridge (Mansfield, Tx.)   <br /> <strong>Class: </strong>Senior<br /> <strong>Result, Events: </strong>20-11 3/4, LJ; 45-4 3/4, TJ<br /> <strong>Noteworthy:</strong> Moore was undefeated against high school athletes in both the long and triple jumps in 2018, topping the national lists in both events and earning All-USA TODAY honors.
