Mini Thailand has introduced the facelifted models of the Hatch and Convertible featuring some tweaks in design and powertrain.

The most immediate changes to the exterior include the new headlights, rear lamps with Union Jack motif and restyled wheels.
Some modifications to the engines have also been deployed to help improve drivability, although the outputs remain the same: 136hp Cooper, 116hp Cooper D and 192hp Cooper S.
However, the bigger technical change is the switch from six-speed torque-convertor automatic to the seven-speed dual-clutch type. Mini claims that the new gearbox helps for increased driving fun.
Like before, only the Cooper S is being made available for the Convertible priced slightly higher at 3 million baht.
The 3- and 5-door models get all three engine variances with price increases of at least 20,000 baht. Their price ranges are 2.15-2.85 million and 2.19-2.89 million baht accordingly.
The Hatch and Convertible are without direct rivals in the Thai premium car market. The Audi A1 Sportback is a potential match for the Hatch 5-door but has yet to be considered for sale in Thailand.
