B-segment SUV is updated with mid-life facelift and some dynamic tweaks to improve comfort.

Mazda Sales Thailand has officially launched the facelifted model of the CX-3 B-segment SUV.
As part of the mid-life update, changes include a restyled exterior face and new interior console to accommodate electronic parking brake.
More features have also been added in the top models bringing the number of driver-assist technologies to eight.
Mazda says improvements can also been seen dynamically. Thanks to some chassis tweaks and sound insulation measures, the ride is claimed to be more comfortable and the cabin quieter than ever.
Although a newly developed 116hp 1.8-litre diesel-turbo has superseded the outgoing 105hp 1.5-litre unit in Europe and Japan, the Thai market still gets the latter one sitting on top of the range costing 1.189 million baht -- 4,000 baht cheaper than the pre-facelift XDL.
The 156hp 2.0-litre petrol (capable of taking gasohol of up to E85) is also carried over and forms the basis of four grades include E costing 879,000 baht (up 44k), C at 955,000 baht (up 45k), S at 1.029 million baht (up 54k) and SP at an unchanged 1.083 million baht.
Like before, such prices pit the CX-3 against the Honda HR-V and Toyota C-HR. While the HR-V had just been given a mid-life facelift, the C-HR remains the only SUV in its class to have a petrol-electric hybrid to choose from.
