Audi’s flagship SUV gets a performance-oriented V6 petrol engine and mild-hybrid tech to stand out from rivals.

Meister Technik, the authorised importer of Audi in Thailand, is taking orders of the all-new Q8 flagship SUV.
Priced at 6.799 million baht in S Line trim, the Q8 is distinguished from its rivals in Thailand with a performance-oriented 3.0-litre V6 petrol engine producing 333hp. Some driving aids are also being highlighted.
Like in the A7 Sportback and A8 luxury saloon, the so-called Q8 55 TFSI comes with eight-speed automatic, Quattro all-wheel drive and 48V mild-hybrid tech.
Other sporty SUVs like the BMW X6 and Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe are offered in Thailand with 258hp 3.0-litre six-cylinder diesel motors instead. In similarly sporty spec, the 30d M Sport and 350d AMG Dynamic cost 6.899 and 7.19 million baht respectively.
The Range Rover Velar is another option with its equally sporty intentions, although it is slightly smaller in size than the three Germans and comes with a less potent 180hp 2.0-litre four-pot diesel. The Velar is sold in three grades ranging from 5.999-6.999 million baht.
