Australia will stage the 16th edition of the AFC Asian Cup kicking off on Friday 9 January, when the hosts play Kuwait in Melbourne. 16 nations are taking part in the tournament, and it is a great opportunity for football fans across Asia and Australia to share their photos and stories of the game with us, as well as any experiences at the Asian Cup both past and present.
Are you planning on going to see one of the matches? Perhaps work or other commitments mean you will be following the tournament from afar this year? Will you be watching the matches with family and friends? What team are you supporting in this year’s tournament? Can the Socceroos go one better than their runners up position in 2011 and win the trophy? We would also love to see any photos from previous tournaments, as well as your own personal stories and experiences of playing and watching football in Australia.
