Is my invitation transferable?
No. Invitations are non transferable and are for the invitee only. If you are unable to attend and wish to send a replacement you must contact the events team in the first instance.
Can I bring my partner?
As the trip is invitation only, we regret that partners are not allowed to come.
Can I change my flight time?
The itinerary is planned around the arrival times so any changes to flights may result in you being unable to take part in certain activities. Any travel outside the itinerary will have to be confirmed with the events team by Friday 19 September at the latest.
Can I stay extra nights at the hotel? Is there a special rate?
It may be possible for guests to stay for additional nights at the Sofitel Royal Bay Resort. Please contact the Events team should you require more details.
Do I need a visa?
UK passport holders do not need a visa for Morocco.
Can I cancel at the last minute? Will I incur any cost?
As places are in very high demand, last minute changes are obviously not ideal. If unavoidable situations occur, please let us know at the earliest opportunity, you will not be charged for cancellations.
How much spending money will I need?
All evening events are catered so any spending money will be for personal shopping, stocking up on souvenirs or for late night drinking and to cover extra room charges, such as items consumed from the mini-bar.
Can I have a copy of the guest list?
The guest list will be posted on our website a few days prior to travel and will also be included in your welcome pack.
What is the dress code for the trip?
The awards presentation is a black tie event. Casual clothes can be worn at all other events. Please bear in mind that Morocco is a Muslim country and therefore consideration must be given to Moroccan culture. Although Agadir is a cosmopolitan destination where there is no strict dress code, it is best not to wear T-shirt and shorts that are too short, tight or revealing. Men shouldn't go shirtless unless on the beach.
Do I need to bring special clothes or equipment for any of the activities?
Please bring appropriate clothing, and be prepared for rain or sun. For outdoor activities please have suitable footwear and waterproof clothing is recommended.
Can I opt out of the set itinerary?
All guests should attend the itinerary - we go to great lengths to ensure that the trips and tours are the best in the region and are guaranteed to be very enjoyable! There are a few different tours taking place on the Friday and Saturday so you will be asked for your preference when registering.
If I win an award do I make a speech?
Winners will be asked to come onto the stage to collect their award and have their photo taken but will not be required to make a speech.
Is there transport to and from my home and Gatwick?
No, you will be expected to make your own way to and from the airport.
