201 more test Covid positive in Lucknow, over 22,000 get jabs

LUCKNOW: At least 201 more people, including two healthcare workers, tested positive for Covid-19 in the city on Monday. Of these, 39 had mild symptoms.

With this, the caseload of the third wave, which had begun on December 22, reached 56,379. As many as 36 people have lost their lives in the same period, while 53,697 patients have recovered. The number of active Covid cases now is 2,682.

Among the fresh cases, the maximum, 43, were recorded in Chinhat, followed by Aliganj (40) and Indiranagar (33). The remaining cases were from other parts of the city.

Meanwhile, 22,284 people were jabbed against Covid-19 in the district on Monday. While 7,478 took the first dose, 12,868 got the second and 1,938 received the booster dose.
