£2000 reward for safe return of dog lost in Strathclyde Park last year

A £2000 reward is being offered for the safe return of a dog lost in Strathclyde Park in March of last year.

Shar Pei Nala was attacked by another dog in the park on the morning of Sunday, March 17 and ran away in fear.

Following Nala's disappearance, owner Debbie Lang issued a desperate appeal for help in bringing her home, but Nala remains missing to this day.

Speaking back in March last year, Nala's owner Debbie Lang told Glasgow Live: "We were just walking in Strathclyde Park and we came across a man with a dog on a lead in front of us.

"Then all of a sudden the man dropped the lead and the other dog ran towards Nala and attacked her.

"It was biting her, and then she ran away up the road. We chased her but every time the other dog owner shouted, she would get further away because she is a very nervous dog.

"She was off like a shot and out of sight. She was obviously completely spooked and is really shy with other dogs and wouldn't go up to somebody she doesn't know.

"We are not too sure where she is now which is quite worrying."

A Facebook community page has been set up to try and find Nala, which you can visit HERE.
