
Twenty Yemeni civilians were killed by Houthi landmines and a severe striking in Hodeida, Al Bayda' and Dhale.
The majority of battlefronts south Hodeida, Taiz, Bayda’, Hajjah, Sirwah and Nihm are witnessing fiercest battles, and the insurgents are suffering humanitarian and materialistic losses in the confrontations with the national army, in addition to losses amid the coalition air strikes.
In the past two days the coalition forces supporting legitimacy destroyed reinforcements for the Houthi militias in Zabid, south Hodeida, not to mention air strikes that targeted military sites in a number of locations south Hodeida and east Sanaa.
Asharq Al-Awsat newspaper monitored the death of more than 10 civilians and the injury of others, three of them by a landmine that burst in a family while passing on a motorcycle in one of the towns north Al Khawkhah District. Two civilians were killed and around 14 others were wounded due to the Houthis striking on Al Hawak District.
During the past two days, more than ten civilians were killed due to the insurgent Houthis striking on the residential towns in At Tuhayta, south Hodeida, not to mention destructing a number of houses and vehicles.
In Hajjah, north-west Sanaa, a military source told Asharq Al-Awsat that the national army forces with the support of the coalition backing legitimacy conducted a military operation on Saturday in Hayran, north-west. This resulted in forcing out insurgents in a number of locations.
The forces continue to advance to liberate other villages that are still under the control of the insurgent militias – during the operation, a number of insurgents were killed and wounded, and more than 15 were abducted.
