Plenty of goals are attainable for players as they head into the 2019 NFL season. Here are some plateaus that will likely be reached.
Von Miller

The Broncos’ Von Miller heads into his ninth season with 98 sacks, leaving him within two of the century mark. Miller has reached double-digits in sacks in seven of his eight seasons.
Cameron Wake

Cameron Wake enters his first season in Tennessee with 98 sacks. Before 2019, he spent his entire career in Miami, where he had five seasons of double-digit takedowns.
J.J. Watt

The scintillating J.J. Watt needs eight sacks to reach the century mark. Watt is coming off a 16-sacks season in 2018. He could do reach 100 in Week One!
Philip Rivers

Philip Rivers is one of the trifecta of quarterbacks drafted in the first round in 2004 that feels destined for Canton. The Chargers’ QB comes into 2019 with 374 career TD passes and should threaten the 400 mark.
Matt Ryan

Matt Ryan is approaching a pair of miletsones. The Falcons’ quarterback needs five TD passes for 300 and 3,280 yards through the air will bring him to the 50,000 mark.
Russell Wilson

Russell Wilson needs four TD passes to reach the 200-mark in his career. Seattle opens its season against Cincinnati at home so it might not take Wilson long to achieve the plateau.
Cam Newton

Cam Newton is another QB approaching the 200-TD milestone. The Heisman winner from Auburn needs 18 scoring throws to hit that mark. Eighteen, by the way, is the least amount of TD tosses Newton has thrown for in a season in his NFL career.
Frank Gore

Frank Gore is in Buffalo now as he continues his brilliant career. He needs 252 yards for 15,000.
Adrian Peterson

Would have seemed a stretch for Adrian Peterson to approach 14,000 yards before his resurgent season in 2018. All Day now has to gain 682 yards for 14,000.
Drew Brees

Drew Brees reaches milestone after milestone. The Saints’ brilliant quarterback is 563 yards shy of 75,000. Fantasy lovers think Brees is on the downside of his Hall of Fame career. Don’t be stunned when he shows them he isn’t.
Ben Roethlisberger

Ben Roethlisberger is closing in on the 60,000-yard mark passing in his career with the Steelers. Roethlisberger needs to throw for 3,806 yards in 2019 to reach that number. The last time he failed to throw for that many yards in a season was 2012 when he played in 13 games.
Eli Manning

Eli Manning needs 4,019 yards for 60,000. He has reached that number in six seasons in his career.
Steve Gostkowski

Steven Gostkowski needs 57 points in 2019 to reach the 1,800 mark as a Patriot. He is entering his 14th NFL season.
Aaron Rodgers

Aaron Rodgers needs 2,056 yards for 45,000 in his illustrious career.
Matthew Stafford

Matt Stafford’s career has not been full of highlights as the Lions have failed to succeed in so many seasons. The former Georgia star needs 1,474 yards for 40,000 in his run in Motown.
Joe Flacco

Joe Flacco has taken his throwing arm to the Mile High City. Will the super Bowl-winning QB see enough action to notch the 1,755 yards he needs for 40,000, or will rookie Drew Lock wind his way into playing in Denver?
Mason Crosby

Mason Crosby has had a long and strong career in Green Bay. Despite the conditions for much of his seasons, he needs 31 points for 1,500.
Graham Gano

The Panthers’ Graham Gano needs 22 points for 1,000.
Justin Tucker

Justin Tucker is as accurate as they come. The Ravens’ kicker is 48 points shy of 1,000 for his career.
Dan Bailey

Dan Bailey delivered 93 points in his first season with the Vikings. If he continues to be the kicker in Minnesota, he is well within reach of 1,000 points, needing 73.
