Glasgow is famed for being one of the best music cities in the world, but sadly it's been a fair few months since we've been able to go to a gig - and it feels like it's been a lot longer.
We're renowned for our legendary venues past and present, including the Hydro, SEC, Subclub, ABC, O2 Academy, King Tut's, The Arches ... the list goes on.
However it's hard to argue against The Barrowland Ballroom being one of Glasgow's most iconic music meccas ... it's got quite a few stories to tell.
And to fill such a void while the doors remain firmly shut at the Gallowgate institution, we thought we'd dip into the archives to take a wee trip down memory lane.
Have a wee look at some photos from some gigs over the years under the famous blue and white tiled ceiling, from the likes of Simple Minds, David Bowie and Beastie Boys - whose show at the venue got so crazy it had to be shut down!
