The confetti has now settled on an amazing night for Sunderland as Spice Girls delighted a packed Stadium of Light on Thursday evening.
After months of counting down to the big, tens of thousands of Spice Girls fans flocked to SAFC's famous ground to see Emma, Geri, Mel B and Mel C in action on their Spice World tour.
The night got going with a stellar set from their support act Jess Glynne and before long it was time for the ladies to make their explosive entrance to the stage with Spice Up Your Life, which received an amazing reaction from the crowd.
The concert blended hit Spice Girls singles like Who Do You Think You Are, Say You'll Be There and Mama with album tracks from the archives including Love Thing, If U Can't Dance and Lady is a Vamp as all four ladies cut striking figures on the stage - as you can see from the gallery of pictures below, taken by official photographer Andrew Timms.
