Detectives today announced a £20,000 reward to capture the killers of a father targeted in a drive-by shooting.
Erdogan Guzel, 42, was gunned down and Sonya Gencheva, 51, wounded in the machinegun attack in Lordship Lane, Wood Green, on July 10, 2015.
CCTV footage released today shows a black Honda Civic drive up to the scene where between eight and 10 men were standing before shots are fired from the rear window.
The car caught on camera has the registration plate X824 ELE but its true registration is X924 ELF.
The victim’s brother Yunus Guzel said today: “My brother’s children have had to endure the pain of the loss of their father.
“Erdogan was a key figure in the family business and the family has struggled to operate without him.”
Detective Inspector Mark Richards said: “The answer to this crime lies within the community and I appeal to them to come forward.” Nine people have been arrested and released as part of the investigation.
