2 wounded in West Pullman shooting

Two people were hurt in a shooting in the 12000 block of South Wallace Street July 13, 2019, in West Pullman.

A man and woman were wounded Saturday in a shooting in West Pullman on the Far South Side.

They were in a vehicle about 3:21 a.m. in the 12000 block of South Wallace Street when someone fired shots through the passenger side window before running off, Chicago police said.

The man, 30, ran to the 12100 block of South Normal Avenue with gunshot wounds to the arm and torso where police found him, police said. The 39-year-old woman was hit in the arms and legs and remained in the vehicle.

Both were taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, police said. The man’s condition was stabilized while the woman was in serious condition.

No one is in custody as Area South detectives investigate.
