2 wanted for stealing groceries from Palos Park Jewel

Police are looking for two people suspected of walking out of a Jewel-Osco with carts full of groceries Thursday in southwest suburban Palos Park.

The theft happened during the evening hours at the Jewel-Osco store located at 9652 W. 131st Street, Palos Park police said.

One person walked out with a cart full of groceries, alcohol and Gyro meat, police said. The other person, who left the store first, loaded a cart full of groceries into a black sedan.

Anyone with information of the theft is asked to contact Palos Park police at 708-671-3782 or 708-448-2191.
