The folks over at NFL.com put together a list of the top 101 free agents for the 2019 offseason.
The Vikings have two names on that list, and both are actually in the top 14.
First, linebacker Anthony Barr appears at No. 11. Three spots behind him is defensive tackle Sheldon Richardson.
It will be interesting to see how the Vikings handle each player.
Just from my sense, it feels like the Vikings will be more inclined to bring back Richardson rather than Barr considering the Vikings had a whole season to extend Barr and chose not to while extending other players.
With that being said, the most likely scenario is the Vikings letting both players sign elsewhere to save some money while filling their spots with players already on the roster, low-end free agents and with their eight draft picks.
Per Over The Cap, the Vikings have $7.25 million in cap space this offseason, a mark that ranks 30th in the NFL. However, the Vikings have moves to make that could clear up some room.
