An Uptown burglar broke into two homes on the same block in July.
The burglaries happened in the 1400 block of West Carmen Avenue, Chicago police said. The first incident happened between 7:45 a.m. and 5:10 p.m. July 11 and the second happened about 6:30 p.m. July 19.
The burglar was seen in one incident and described as an African American male between 180 and 200 pounds with black hair and a medium complexion, police said. He was wearing a black v-neck shirt, blue jeans, white earbuds and was carrying a black backpack.
Police are asking anyone with information about the burglaries to call Area North detectives at 312-744-8263.
