Two teenagers were shot and wounded — one of them critically — Thursday in the South Chicago neighborhood.
They were on a sidewalk in the 2600 block of East 84th Street when a vehicle drove up and someone inside fired shots, Chicago police said.
The 18-year-old man was struck about 7:50 p.m. once in the face and twice in the back, police said. He was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in critical condition.
A 16-year-old girl was shot in the thigh, and was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center, police said. Her condition had stabilized.
