Two 16-year-old boys were charged with a carjacking a man at gunpoint in Little Village on the Southwest Side.

On Jan. 10, the teens allegedly approached a 33-year-old man in the 3100 block of South Springfield Avenue, flashed a gun and demanded his Chevy Cruze, Chicago police said in a statement.

The man complied and the boys fled in his car about 7:20 p.m., police said.

An investigation led officers to the boys, who were arrested Tuesday on felony counts of aggravated vehicular hijacking with a firearm.

They were due in juvenile court Wednesday.
