Two people were stabbed during an argument Saturday in Garfield Park on the West Side.

Officers were called about 4:36 a.m. to the 4500 block of West Washington Boulevard and learned a 36-year-old woman and 51-year-old man were stabbed.

The two were arguing with a 43-year-old man, and the altercation turned physical, police said. The 43-year-old stabbed the man and woman with a pocket knife and then drove off.

The woman was stabbed in the arm, and the man had wounds on his face, armpit and hand, police said. Both had their conditions stabilized at Mt. Sinai Hospital.

No arrests have been made as Area North detectives investigate.
