A man and a woman were shot during an argument Tuesday in Brighton Park on the Southwest Side.

They were arguing with a male acquaintance in a residence about 8:58 p.m. in the 2600 block of West 44th Street, Chicago police said. The male fired shots striking both the woman and the man.

The woman, 30, was struck in the leg and hip, and the 28-year-old man was shot in the leg, police said. They both had their conditions stabilized at Mt. Sinai Hospital.

No arrests have been made as Area Central detectives investigate.
