Two adults were seriously wounded in a stabbing Monday afternoon in Englewood on the South Side.
Officers and paramedics responded about 12:45 p.m. to the 5600 block of South Racine Avenue and found two stabbing victims in an empty lot, according to Chicago Fire Dept. Deputy District Chief Walter Schroeder.
They were taken in serious-to-critical condition to the University of Chicago Medical Center, Schroeder said.
One person was stabbed in the face, while the other was stabbed in the torso, he said.
A police spokesman did not immediately have details about the stabbing.
