
Police in the north suburbs are looking for two men suspected of robbing a business Monday in Northbrook.
Officers responded at 3:30 p.m. to a report of an armed robbery at a business at 1363 Shermer Rd., Northbrook police said in a statement. It was unclear which business was targeted.
The suspects, two men in their early 20s, stole merchandise and a handgun, police said. No shots were fired and no one was injured.
They were last seen heading southbound on Shermer in a tan-colored Jeep Compass, police said.
Police released photos of the suspects Monday afternoon. One man, standing 5-feet-11, wore dark clothes and bright orange shoes, police said. The second man, about 6-feet tall, wore a green construction vest.
The incident did not appear to be a random act, police said. Anyone with information was asked to call Northbrook police at 847-564-2060.
