Police are questioning a person of interest after two men were shot Thursday in Burnside on the South Side.
The men, both 24, were walking in the 600 block of East 92nd Place when someone walked up to them and pulled out a handgun, according to Chicago police. He opened fire and hit them both.
One man was shot in the chest, while the other was hit in the chest and face, police said. They were both taken in critical condition to the University of Chicago Medical Center.
Area South detectives are questioning someone in connection with the shooting.
