The two white men accused of shooting and killing a black man in Georgia have been arrested and charged in connection with his death.
Gregory McMichael, 64, and his 34-year-old son Travis have been charged with murdering Ahmaud Arbery while he was jogging, the Georgia Bureau of Investigations announced in a news release.
Pressure built for an arrest in Arbery's case after release of a 28-second video in which a man jogging along a rural road, identified as Arbery, is stopped as he tries to pass a pickup truck carrying the McMichaels.
Police say during the Feb. 23 encounter, Travis McMichael shot and killed Arbery, and gunshots can be heard in the video.
