2 medicos caught cheating in exam

INDORE: Two MBBS detained batch final professional students were caught cheating during the examination with the help of electronic device and an Unfair Means (UFM) case have been registered against them on Monday.

Flying squad of Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV) led by deputy registrar (exams and confidential) Rachana Thakur had Dr Vivek Sathe and Dr Chetali Uike as members during random checking found a small electronic device stitched on the inside of a student’s vest.

The device was connected with a thin wire reaching till his collar, said Thakur. She added that the device was also connected to some bluetooth device which wasn’t visible.

Therefore, the squad decided to check all the students and then a mobile phone was found in another student’s pocket. A call was running on the mobile phone which was connected to some bluetooth device. “Both the students had micro size bluetooth devices fitted into their ears which were not visible to us We confiscated the device and the mobile phone,” she added.

About 80 students of detained batch from MGM Medical College, Aurobindo Medical College and Indus Medical College have been appearing in the examination at MGM Medical College. Examinations have commenced from February 18 onwards.
