Two men were killed in a shooting Tuesday in west suburban Maywood.
Officers responded about 6:20 p.m. to the 1200 block of South 13th Avenue for calls of shots fired in the area, Maywood police said. There, they found Yarnell M. White, 30, and Dean Stansberry, 38, with gunshot wounds.
Both were taken in critical condition to Loyola University Medical Center, police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office said. They were pronounced dead about an hour later.
An autopsy released Wednesday found they both died from multiple gunshot wounds and ruled their deaths as homicides, the medical examiner’s office said. White and Stansberry lived in the area.
No one is in custody.
