2 injured in firing at Hailakandi

SILCHAR: Two persons were critically injured when bike-borne miscreants opened fire in Chiparsangan near Algapur in Hailakandi district on Friday.

A senior police officer said asuk Ahmed (35) and Mostafa Ahmed (30) were returning from a cattle market on a bike when three unidentified men, who were also on a bike and had their faces covered with masks, opened fire on them. TNN
