Authorities are looking for two people who ran from a car after it crashed into a police car Friday in Austin on the West Side.
A 2007 Pontiac sedan ran a stop sign and nearly hit a marked squad car at 2:06 a.m. in the 800 block of North Parkside Avenue, according to Chicago police.
Officers pursued the car to the 1400 block of North Mayfield Avenue, where it crashed into a squad car, police said. A male and female got out of the Pontiac and ran away on foot.
No injuries were reported, police said. No one is in custody as Area North detectives investigate.
