JAIPUR: Two motorcycle-borne men were killed after their motorbike was hit by an unidentified vehicle near the Uccahin police station area in Bharatpur district on Thursday morning.
The deceased included a man and his nephew. Police said the incident took place when Brij Mohan and his nephew, Gopal, were returning from Jatoli village after attending a function.
"A gathering was organised on the death of their relative. Both were on a motorbike which was hit by an unidentified vehicle," said a senior police officer at Uccahin police station.
Police said both were in the pool of blood at the spot after the accident. After some time some passersby spotted them. "Both were rushed to the hospital where they were declared brought dead. In the evening the bodies of the deceased were handed over to their relatives," the officer said.
Police have also registered a case of causing death due to negligence against the driver of the yet-to-be-identified vehicle.
