Two children were reportedly threatened by group of boys before having one of their bikes stolen near a bus station.
Police are investigating the alleged robbery of a boy and girl Highbury Road, Bulwell, at around 3.50 pm September 5.
It was reported the two children were threatened by a group of boys before their bike was stolen.
Multiple police vehicles were spotted outside of a bus stop in the town by residents.
According to police nobody involved was hurt during the incident and the stolen bike was later recovered by police.
Nottinghamshire Police have said their inquiries are ongoing. No arrests have been made.
Detective Constable Gareth Philp, from Nottinghamshire Police, said: “We are investigating a report of robbery, during which a girl’s bike was stolen, which happened in Highbury Road in Bulwell at around 3.50pm yesterday.
“It was reported a girl and boy were threatened by some boys before the bike was taken. No-one was hurt during the incident and the bike was later recovered.
“Our enquiries are ongoing and we are urging anyone who witnessed the robbery to please get in contact with us. We would also like to hear from anyone who may have been in the area around this time and who may have recorded CCTV, dash-cam or mobile phone footage to please come forward.”
