2 burglaries reported on same Lawndale block

Two homes were burglarized in January on the same block in Lawndale on the West Side.

The burglaries happened in the 1200 block of South Central Park Avenue, Chicago police said. In both incidents, someone forced their way into a home and stole property from inside.

The first burglary happened about 1 p.m. Jan. 6, police said. The second one happened about 2:40 p.m. Jan. 21.

Police did not provide a description of any suspects.

Anyone with information is asked to call Area Central detectives at 312-747-8380.
