BHOPAL: Bairagarh police acting on a complaint filed by a district administration official registered a case on charges of fraud and breach of trust against two accused for allegedly duping several villagers in Budhakheda and neighbouring villages on the pretext of submitting their forms under the Dharna Adhikar Scheme for land lease (Patta).
The accused illegally took a higher amount than the prescribed application fees from the villagers for filling up their forms and submitting them at Lok Sewa Kendra but did not submit many forms despite receiving the money.
Police said that complainant Rajendra Singh Meena, a resident of Elixir Garden Colony in Karond, is posted as Patwari of Behta village in Borwan. tnn
