2,399 New Virus Cases in Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia has a total of 72,560 cases of the coronavirus after 2,399 more people tested positive, the Health Ministry said Sunday.

Among the total number of cases, 28,650 are active and 372 are in critical condition, Health Ministry spokesman Dr. Mohammed Abdelali said.

So far, 43,520 patients have recovered, he added.

The death toll from the outbreak rose by 11 in the Kingdom to reach 390.

The number of COVID-19 tests carried out by Saudi Arabia has reached 703,534 after 18,919 new tests.
