A new official world record has just been set and verified by Guinness - the largest gathering of people wearing capes.
2,266 people donned the mantle of the bat to mark the 80th anniversary of the Caped Crusader on Batman Day.
The event was held at the world’s first-ever Warner Bros. branded indoor theme park in Abu Dhabi and took place at the park’s Gotham City and Warner Bros. Plaza lands
Batfans of all ages came together to take part in the festivities, donning Batman’s iconic cape.
Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi is one of the world’s largest indoor theme parks with six lands, including DC’s Metropolis and Gotham City, Cartoon Junction, Bedrock, Dynamite Gulch and Warner Bros. Plaza.
It has 29 state-of-the-art rides and interactive attractions.
