King Salman Armed Forces Hospital in Northwestern Region (KSAFH) will host in Tabuk on Wednesday the First International Saudi Conference on Breast and Endocrine Surgeries.
Speaking on the occasion, Major General Dr. Ateyah Mohammed AlZahrani, Director of the KSAFH said the conference comes within the Saudi Armed Forces Medical Services' strategies and policies to level up awareness in all segments of the society, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
It will highlight updates and experiences in breast and endocrine surgeries, he added.
The conference is targeting breast, endocrine and plastic surgeons. Specialized workshop on examining breast tissues with ultrasound and taking biopsy, breast reconstruction will be among the conference activities, AlZahrani further said.
According to SPA, speakers from USA, France, Spain, Italy and South Korea in addition to local speakers from American College of Surgeon in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, King Faisal Specialist Hospital and other leading medical institutions in the Kingdom will present their findings in the conference, he said
