£1million drugs haul incinerated after PSNI Craigavon seizures

Drugs with a street value of around £1million have been incinerated at a secret location after being seized in Craigavon.

The haul, packed into distinctive yellow bags, were seized by police during raids and searches in recent months in the district.

And the drugs include heroin, fentanol, cannabis and other illegal substances.

An image of the bagged drugs was shared by PSNI Craigavon before incineration.

A PSNI spokesman said: "Around £1,000,000 - yes, a million pounds worth -  of drugs were taken off the streets of your district in the last few months.

"Now they are to be incinerated, everything from heroin and fentanol to weed and all in between.
