1m in awe of Warren Gatland's son's bravery as he's bulldozed by rugby giant

Marika Koroibete bowling over Bryn Gatland in bulldozing fashion has become one of rugby's most-watched videos this week.

The incident occurred in a Super Rugby match between Chiefs and Melbourne Rebels, and has picked up roughly one million views in two days on TikTok.

Gatland, who is the son of Wales coach Warren, stuck boot to ball from within his own 22 and gave chase in the hope of gaining some valuable territory. Rebels and Australia wing Koroibete was on the receiving end and picked a powerful straight line to run.

Having chased his own kick, Gatland lined himself up to tackle the Wallaby wrecking ball. At first the Chiefs outside-half is flattened, but in quite remarkable fashion, as he is flipped over he grabs the leg of Koroibete and completes the tackle.

The commentator was in shock of Gatland's courage.

"Here he comes Marika on the charge! Jeez, that is brave from Gatland, he went low and stopped the missile that is Marika!"

Viewers were left gob-smacked by Gatland's bravery.

"People don’t understand how good a tackle that actually is all things considered" said one.

"Top Top Top tackle take a bow... Text book." said another.

The game finished 36-26 to Chiefs with Gatland knocking over three conversions for the winning side. The Chiefs side contained a host of All Blacks, including Anton Lienert-Brown, Samisoni Taukei'aho and Quinn Tupaea.
