
Seibu Railway Co. will reproduce a townscape with nostalgic touches of the 1960s at Seibu Amusement Park in Tokorozawa, Saitama Prefecture, as part of a major renovation of the park, the company has said.
The railway company plans to invest about 10 billion yen for the reproduction of streets of this kind, renovation of existing facilities and the introduction of a new attraction. It plans to reopen the amusement park in the first half of 2021.
Seibu Amusement Park, which opened in 1950, has many several decades-old facilities such as a Ferris wheel and a merry-go-round.
