BHOPAL: A total of 19 new Covid-19 cases were reported in the state on Monday says the state health bulletin released by directorate of health services.
With these 19 new cases reported on Monday, the tally of positive cases reported so far in the state has reached 7,93,377. As per the health bulletin released by the directorate of health, there were a total of 160 active cases in the state.
Maximum cases were reported from Bhopal as 9 tested positive followed by 7 new cases in Indore district and 2 new cases from Betul district and one new case from Jabalpur district. No new case was reported from 48 districts of the state.
Positivity rate — the number of people testing positive out every 100 samples tested — was at 0.03%.
Around 57,267 samples were tested and of it 19 were found positive. Thus, on an average, one person out of every 3,000 who were tested, was found to be positive.
A total of 19 people recovered on Monday, taking the count of recoveries so far in MP to 7,82,688.
Apart from it, no death was reported in the state on Monday and the death toll due to Covid-19 remained 10,529.
