There are few roads in Scotland which can rival Edinburgh's Princes Street when it comes to a rich and varied history.
We've had huge protest marches, parades, some of the biggest parties you can imagine and visits from a selection of the most famous people on the planet.
So we thought we'd take a look back in time and put together a small selection of incredible photos taken during some of the city's most significant moments – from the Queen's Coronation and huge Hogmanay parties to the giant Make Poverty History march.
Some of the photos date back to the start of the 20th century while the most recent was taken earlier this year.
