18-year-old wounded in Gage Park shooting

A man was shot and wounded Sunday afternoon in Gage Park on the Southwest Side.

The man, 18, was in a park around 2:30 p.m. when he was shot in the abdomen in the 5600 block of South Saint Louis Avenue, Chicago police said.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital and was listed in critical condition, police said.

No one is in custody. Area One detectives are investigating.
