San Bernardino police received a 911 call about 2:30 a.m. Monday that a man had been stabbed by his girlfriend in the 2000 block of North Central Avenue, officials said. By the time officers arrived, James was gone. She is now wanted on suspicion of murder.

"Nakasia is aware that she is being sought in connection with this homicide," San Bernardino police said in a statement. "At this time it does appear to be related to a domestic disturbance inside the apartment."
