18-year-old suffers fractured skull in Belfast attack

An 18-year-old man suffered a fractured skull in an attack in Belfast

Police released a statement regarding the attack outside a licensed premises on Finaghy Road North on Monday, December 27 at around 1.20am.

The victim remains in hospital.

A PSNI spokesman said: "Officers and colleagues from NIAS attended the scene and the man was taken to hospital where he is currently receiving treatment for a fractured skull.

"The area was heavily populated at the time and police appeal to anyone who may have witnessed the assault or have any information or dash-cam footage that could help with enquiries to contact police on 101 quoting reference 184 of 27/12/21."
